1. Hitting a deep ball (Correction)

Easy

Coach feeds a deep ball and player 1 hits crosscourt.

TIPS: The player tries to backswing early before running to the ball. He hits the ball with open stance if possible. He plays crosscourt with top spin and gives some height to the ball in order to avoid the net and to play deep.

2. Hitting a deep & a short ball (Correction)

Easy

Coach feeds a deep ball and then a short one at the same side. The same drill at the opposite side.

TIPS: The player tries to backswing early before running to the ball. He hits the ball with open stance if possible. He plays crosscourt with top spin and gives some height to the ball in order to avoid the net and to play deep. He recovers to his starting point, does a splitstep in the ready position and runs for the short ball.
